Our spring Juried Show was a resounding success, despite some unexpected hurdles.

As some of you may know, the first day of check-in was cancelled due to police activity near the library. So we had just one day to accept all the entries, and there were a record number of them. Still, the artwork was checked in, then arranged and hung, in time for our judge Lynn Morgan to start her efforts. And she spent several hours choosing the award winners.

As usual, the quality of the works was exceptional, and the display outstanding.

The major award winners are:

  • Best of Show: Ying Liu, "My Rooster"
