President's Message

HBAL survives by the many donated hours put into our club by its members. Thank you to Gary Sohl and Stan Wolf for organizing and running the Artist of the Year voting last month. The time and talent of each of our volunteers is truly appreciated.

At the April meeting there will be a sign-up sheet for the May Open Show. This would be an excellent time to get involved in helping our league. Plus, there's the added benefit of making new friends.

Mickie Reinertson won our silent auction fundraiser on the signed Milford Zornes book, "Nicaragua". Congratulations and thank you.

Our first workshop of the year, by Chris Sullivan, is filled. We are planning another for September or October featuring Jacki Long, who gave the collage demonstration for HBAL last December.

We welcome all members to observe a Board Meeting of HBAL which is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Call either president to find the location for the month and observe your league in action.
