Joan Knight holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Kansas State University and a California teaching
credential.
Throughout her pursuit as an artist she has been commissioned to create artwork that can be found
in the mid west and California in both private homes and corporate lobbies. She has exhibited and won
awards for her artwork in such places as the Fresno Art Museum, Artist Studio Gallery in Palos Verdes
and the Palos Verdes Art Museum.
“My art is the expression of living my life, lessons learned along the way and most importantly
in the process of letting it all flow, through a paintbrush filled with vibrant color onto a blank
sheet of paper. Then standing back and enjoying the stories my paintings tell.”
