Cheryl Del Toro

About the artist:

From an early age I wanted to draw and paint. Born in Los Angeles, I attended South Bay and Orange County colleges, taking classes in drawing, painting, basic design and art history along with private instruction. I currently serve on the Huntington Beach Art League Board of Directors and am a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Organization "Memories in the Making" art therapy for the elderly. After working 20 years in aerospace and my children now grown, I started to concentrate on art. My award winning landscapes show a love for travel and history.

In recent years I have enjoyed the world of photography and have explored digital enhancements. Already having a trained artist "eye" for composition from years of painting has made an easy transition into photography resulting in various awards.
