From an early age I wanted to draw and paint. Born in Los Angeles, I attended South Bay and Orange County colleges, taking classes in drawing, painting, basic design and art history along with private instruction. I currently serve on the Huntington Beach Art League Board of Directors and am a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Organization "Memories in the Making" art therapy for the elderly. After working 20 years in aerospace and my children now grown, I started to concentrate on art. My award winning landscapes show a love for travel and history.
In recent years I have enjoyed the world of photography and have explored digital enhancements. Already having a trained artist "eye" for composition from years of painting has made an easy transition into photography resulting in various awards. Recent exhibits include photos of flowers, trees, and fruit.
Whatever experiences and sights each day brings, the next painting has begun.
