Dianne started selling "Patriotic Pictures" at age 6 during WWII and hasn't
stopped creating paintings and drawings since. After High School in Santa Monica, she attended
Scripps College in Claremont and studied with Millard Sheets and Phil Dike. She earned her MA
and MFA degree in Art/Graphic Design from CSULB while raising a family of three (plus husband!)
and working as an Exhibit Designer and Art Director of Video Productions at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing
in Huntington Beach, CA.
She and husband, Cecil, have had their own Graphic Design/Sales Promotion studio (Circle Studio)
in HB for over 35 years. Now in these golden days, painting and creating all kinds of art have become
even more important. The joy of experimenting with new materials, the computer, and attending classes
and workshops offers such a delight. She enjoys looking at painting subjects in new ways and
interpreting them with boldness and creativity.
